Ways We Work

How We Support the Community

Our programs create opportunities for all students to develop skills for the future and master innovative thinking. By transforming the STEM landscape and empowering students to lead and learn through STEM research and hand on activities, we can prepare ALL students for their future career aspirations.

Central Sound Regional Science and Engineering Fair (CSRSEF)

The annual CSRSEF event offers high school students a platform to showcase their scientific research and engineering projects. Students have the opportunity to present their findings to professionals, gain feedback, and compete for local, national, and international recognition.

Teacher Support & Training

We work with select partners like Starfish Education to provide resources and training to help teachers implement project-based learning. By supporting educators, we create sustainable and impactful STEM programs that inspire students.

Mentorship Program

Our upcoming mentorship program aims to connect experienced professionals and alumni with current students. This initiative will help guide students through their projects and foster a collaborative learning environment, particularly focusing on underserved populations.

Currently, CSRSEF Foundation is financially supporting a mentorship with 3D printing experts in Seattle and high school students in the Puget Sound area. Students will be using resin waste from 3D printing to reuse, design and 3D print sustainable materials for hospital setting or Innovation Center connected to healthcare

Student-Led STEM Programs

Our upcoming mentorship program aims to connect high school students who have mastered STEM protocols and innovative thinking with elementary and middle school students. High school students will work with younger students to implement Arduino, code and other hands-on STEM labs to support and foster innovative thinking in K-8 grades. Teachers and principals, if you are interested in requesting high school students to come to your classroom or run an after school program and teach STEM activities to your students, contact us!
